Detroit native Ashley Maltbia believes that every person has the duty to follow their passion and live in their purpose. After graduating from Howard University, Ashley relocated to Atlanta, GA where her entrepreneurial spirit was ignited and she began a career in Commercial Real Estate serving as the Vice-President of Industrial Investment Sales. As one of very few African-Americans and even fewer women in Commercial Real Estate, she quickly excelled and was featured repeatedly in the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a rising young star of 23 years old. She simultaneously went on to obtain an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland, University College and launched her own business.
Ashley currently serves as Managing Partner of The Maverick Firm, offering full service financial advising, insurance, and retirement planning. As co-host of the popular iMaverick radio show, Ashley is a conduit, providing a financial voice to underserved communities. A seasoned public speaker, Ashley continues to mentor and service the community through volunteer efforts and entrepreneurial mentorship to cultivate the next generation of business leaders.
She is a member of the Howard University Alumni Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

After quitting her job back in 2012 to pursue a life as a multi-passionate entrepreneur, she's continued to strive in being more than someone with a goal - she is passionate about inspiring others to take control and create the lives they deserve, no matter what.
Neosha has gained studies in Web and Development, Design, and currently Media Communications. When she's not working to help solve problems and create new solutions for the digital world, she's being a mother to a toddler boy and enjoying cooking up delicious, vegan meals.

As far as she can remember, make up, and the artistry of cosmetics was a part of Janine's childhood. Even as a young child, she could recall the fascination with the many pigments and hues resting upon her mother’s vanity. Janine perused and mastered my devotion to make-up, and enrolled into the David Pressley school of Cosmetology in Royal Oak, MI; and obtained her instructor's license in Esthetics. From then, she perfected her skill; both instructing and becoming a M.A.C. certified MUA.
Today, Janine is the successful owner and CEO of Shades by J9. Her work has been certified and published within Munaluchi Bridal Magazine, she's been contracted for television series,” Paternity Court with Judge Lauren Lakes”, “Selling in the ATL” featured on WETV and a dozens of network commercials.
She prides myself in perfecting and enhancing the overall scope of her canvases for their cinematography, and photography appearances, knowing that their makeup not only looks good for that moment but for a lifetime, frozen in still.

Danielle D. Hughes is an Anchor/Reporter for WRDW News 12. She comes to the CBS affiliate from Dothan, Alabama, where she began her journalism career as a Multimedia Journalist for WDHN.
As a proud native of the Motor City, Danielle decided to make the big move south to Atlanta in 2011 to complete her undergraduate education. She graduated from Georgia State University in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. Juggling regular classes, Danielle still managed to spend consecutive semesters interning at WSB-TV, and serve as the President of the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists Consortium. Danielle is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
In addition to her passion of storytelling, Danielle is also dedicated to being a youth advocate. She is co-founder of Detroit Speaks a rising non-profit organization with a mission of inspiring youth in Metro Detroit to increase social awareness, community involvement, and achieve their dreams.
In 2015, she created the "Oh, the places you'll go!" vision board series for youth ages 13-18 to define their goals and dreams, build a personal vision board and prepare for their future. Since its inception, the series has partnered with the Augusta-Richmond County Library to hold monthly workshops and was the headlining event for the world renowned Augusta Literary Festival this year.
